The sand here used to be yellow, gradually transitioning from yellow to pure white. The White Sand Dunes have been closely linked with Bau Trang Lake for centuries. What’s fascinating here is that the White Sand Dunes provide an endless supply of sand, while Bau Trang offers an endless source of fresh water. The picturesque landscape of Bau Trang, with its crystal-clear waters, is a wonderful destination for outdoor tourists.

Exploring the White Sand Dunes by off-road motorcycle, visitors can freely discover the dunes and ride to the top for memorable photos.

What to do at Bàu Trắng Sand Dunes, Mũi Né?
First, you can't forget to bring a camera or smartphone, as the scenery here is so beautiful that not taking photos would be a missed opportunity for your trip. When traveling to the White Sand Dunes by jeep, visitors will have the chance to stop at beautiful and famous spots like Bau Trang in Binh Thuan to freely choose the perfect photo spots and strike a pose for memorable pictures.

Sandboarding: This is a fun activity for everyone, from children to adults. You can rent a sandboard here for about 20,000 VND per board and enjoy sliding as long as you like. It's best to go sandboarding early in the morning or in the afternoon, as the sand gets very hot at noon, and you'll get tired quickly. Be sure to bring water to stay hydrated.
Conquer the sand dunes with an off-road vehicle rental here, and enjoy driving around the dunes at your own pace.
Another exciting activity here is riding an ostrich.
Take a boat tour at Bàu Bà and enjoy the beautiful scenery (not recommended, as there are no rescue speedboats available).

Directions to the White Sand Dunes of Mũi Né:
From Phan Thiet City, Mui Ne, take Road 706B or Nguyen Đinh Chieu Street to the Hon Rom tourist area → continue along Vo Nguyen Giap Road → then onto Xuan Thuy Road → follow the ĐT716 National Highway. After driving about 12 km, you will reach Bau Trang and the White Sand Dunes.
If you prefer not to drive or rent a motorbike in Mũi Né, you can opt for a tour that covers four attractions: Bau Trang Sand Dunes, Pink Sand Dunes, Tiên Stream, and the Mui Ne Fishing Village.
